Dylan began work in the video field while still in Junior High, latching onto it with a passion in the classroom. After editing a short documentary on a local Carbondale artist, Dylan focused on graduating from High School early in order to pursue a major in Television and Cinema Production at Southern Illinois University where he has become a National Student Emmy Award-winning producer for “alt.news 26:46″, a completely student-run television show that airs on WSIU-TV in Carbondale, a PBS affiliate.
During his time at SIU, Dylan has been able to expand his talents, acquiring expertise in motion graphics and web design, as well as have the opportunity to travel the country to places such as New York, Colorado, California, and Texas, shooting short-form documentaries for “alt.news 26:46″.
