Amy Tomlinson

Amy is currently a junior at SIUC majoring in cinema. After living for far too many years in the not very alternative Park Ridge, IL Amy moved down to Carbondale to begin studying for an exciting career in cinema – a medium which she has always been fascinated by. Although she did not participate in alt.news her freshman year, she had always heard wonderful things about it. After a small push from fellow alt.news staffer, Amy Myers, Amy quickly became involved with the show last year, working on as many segments and IDs as she could including Calvert Drive-In, Captain Chemistry, Beerios, Just Dance, Mark Turns, Clown College, and The Safe House. She also served as the Continuity Mistress (Script Supervisor) for the yearly alt.news short film Bittersweet in which she also co-produced the host links for that episode. When not working for alt.news Amy can often be found conquering the uncharted territory of the Little Grand Canyon or canoeing about the Campus Lake.
